Ingomar Garden Club prides itself in having members of our club involved with community projects not always "garden-related" we feel their efforts relate to our goals.  As a long time volunteer of North Hills Community Outreach, I feel that I contribute to helping clients that come in to the Allison Park or Millvale offices for assistance with food, heat, light, or rental problems to name a few.

Elayne Masters is a member of IGC and also volunteers at the North Hills Community Outreach. She keeps us up to date on what part we can play to help in their many projects.

NORTH HILLS COMMUNITY OUTREACH by Elayne Masters
Possible dates for us to work at the Rosalinda Sauro Sirianni Garden are August 21 or September
4, 11, or 18 (all Fridays). Please text me at 724-244-5564 to let me know if/when you can go.
The Victory Garden for St. Paul’s received approval of concept from Hampton Township Council
to be situated at the Community Center. Once we get the go-ahead, I'm hoping our club will
be willing to help with this important project that will grow additional food for the needy.
For this year, if any of you have any harvest that you can donate, we'll make sure it gets distributed
appropriately. Again, text to the number above.
