PRESIDENTS REMARKS

From the President: Happy May,
I hope everyone has found some time to be outside in their gardens! The                                  
weather has been so beautiful, that I didn’t even mind the thunderstorm this
past weekend! While you were in your garden did you dig a plant or two for
the Plant Sale? Thank you to everyone who assisted Irene and the Plant Sale
committee at the Diggum events.
I have heard that our club was mentioned a few times during the awards
presentation at the GCFP Convention. You will find out all about it at our
May meeting. Thank you to Rita Mack who represented Ingomar GC at the
convention.
There was a small group of us who got together for cookies, tortes, cheese, crackers, sweet treats from the
Oriental Market and WINE. Oh yeah, we also made Easter/Spring themed flower arrangements at
Flowerama. Patty really made us feel welcome and shared lots of knowledge on design structure and
flower manipulation. Flowerama is in the running for Best of Pittsburgh, and you can vote for Flowerama
