Presidents Comments

July 2017

Dear Club Members,

This has been a beautiful spring with plenty of rain and warm sunshine. Now summer has started and the clouds are outstanding puffs. My Manarda is in full bloom. The Yarrow has been blooming and the others are coming along. My planters are filling in nicely.

We are looking forward to the July 5th picnic at Donna Artz. Don’t forget to plan on carpooling, bring a chair to sit on, and an auction item. Bring money too. :) Donna’s gardens have grown and developed beautifully since you saw them last. It will be a treat to see them again.

The Board meeting was interesting with talk of plans to try a craft vendors’ money raising sale. We will be running this by you at the picnic. Hopefully we will get an email of ideas out to the club before the picnic.

The Leadership Workshop is still open for enrollment. It would be great to have others join Jan Desko, Kate Coleville, Rita Mack, and myself for this educational workshop. There were others who were thinking about it.
