I have found signs of spring in my garden, I swear they were not there two weeks ago! Tuesday I walked out my door and voilà there they were, daisies and day lilies popping out of the ground! does the time go?
Thank you Kate for leading the March meeting, I have heard only compliments. Thank you to Oralia for agreeing to be our 2020 convention flower arrangement lead and liaison with Polly Berginc. Thank you to Eileen for taking on the Flower Press – this is Her work you have in your hands! Did I say Thank You? THANK YOU.
In April we move from the indoor Orchid plants that we enjoyed during our March Meeting and Orchid Society Show to outdoor annuals and perennials. We will be busy, making crafts and plants (dig ‘ems) for our sale in May, attending the District IX Members Day Out, the GCFP State convention, and IGC trips to Flowerama and Jesteadt’s. So, many opportunities to meet fellow gardeners from near and far.
Savor the Season,
Linda Womsley
