A Taste For Maple

Following retirement in 2007 Clay McLeod, Civil Engineer and sheet metal worker,  started tapping maples. A little history about Maple tree tapping along with how to cook then store maple syrup will enable us to experience Clay’s distinctive passion. There will be samples to taste. Clay hales from Marshall Township, PA.

Pegs for tapping, the bucket for catching and after boilng 50 gallons of sap to get one gallon of syrup here is the result.
