December Message
Greeting Garden Friends,
As 2021 winds down, I reflect on how our club continued to shine as a beacon of light and beauty in our community with our community gardens, by encouraging creativity and conservation with our youth with our poetry, poster and essay contests, and with our return at last to the Wexford Healthcare Center in November for our Hortiherapy project. Jessie Hudson lead a team of club members with her beautiful seasonal creations. The residents were very appreciative and it was wonderful to be back! Thanks to all of you, Ingomar Garden Club has experienced a very impressive year, despite COVID. We have been thrilled to welcome our new members during this year as well.
I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your families. I am certainly thankful for all of you, and your hard work throughout the year to support our club. I look forward to seeing everyone next Wednesday for our December General Meeting at Shannopin Country Club, followed by our holiday luncheon and gift exchange. Please bring your garden related gift if you would like to participate. It’s always nice to get the chance to relax and spend time celebrating with our gardening friends in such a lovely setting.
All the best – Kate Colville
